Two weeks and two days and then I'll be landing on the runway in Roma! I feel like I'm just starting to prep now! shopping must be done (ugh) and packing lists made and checked, financials to figure out, and a million tiny things to worry about!! But none of this can deter my eagerness to be there already! As my college friends return to Ithaca and Cornell I sulk jealously and go to work for another two weeks but I know it will be worth it in the long run, IC will still be there in January! I miss you Holmies ladies!!!
It appears I AM in a language apartment, where italian will be spoken 24/7, no english. Yikes! But it's one of the nicer neighborhoods that my program houses students in! I have my own little reserve of fears and hesitations but I am looking forward to all the good new adventures and experiences I'll have in the fall! Any helpful tips on packing or traveling/living abroad in Europe would be helpful, back to the frenzy!
